If the board has changed at the end of a player's turn such that one of the active player's pieces is adjacent tosurround an opponent's piece on two sides, there is the possibility of a capture. (This includes when a playerthe placesactive aplayer pyramidadds onto the topstrength of pyramidsa inone anof already-occupiedhis squarestacks.) If the opponent's pyramid is now surrounded by pyramids of the active player's color and the total number of visible pips for the active player's stacks is moregreater than the visible pips in the squareopponent's betweenstack, then the active player has made a capture. He removes the piece (or the top pyramid in the stack of pieces) and keeps it nearby to count as victory points.
