Hailstorm is a free-placement Icehouse game, designed by Andy Looney in 2002. Players take turns removing pyramids from a bag and dropping them on the playing surface, capturing any pieces that the dropped piece points at (or the dropped piece itself, if it lands upright). Andy designed Hailstorm to be the Icehouse equivalent of Roulette, where players wager on uncontrolled mechanical happenstance.

Hailstorm was published in Hypothermia #15.
