Penguin Soccer World Cup Edit

The next Tournament will take place at Noncon on Saturday, February 21, 2009. The Penguin Soccer World Cup is an IAGO World Tour event.

History Edit

The first ever Penguin Soccer tournament took place at Noncon in Poughkeepsie, NY on Sunday, February 24, 2008.

For tournament play a chess clock was successfully used, limiting each player to 15 minutes playing time. No game was lost through "time-out".

The tournament winner (crowned Penguin Soccer World Champion by the International Abstract Games Organization) was Oiver Grech, who defeated Tom Savini in the final game. A Treehouse set was awarded as a prize by tournament sponsor, Alterniverse!
