=== Removal ===
When removing pieces, the two pieces must share at least one adjacent (empty) space; they can, but don't need to be, adjacent themselves. Place the next piece in a space that is adjacent to both of the swappedto-be-removed pieces, then take the removed pieces from the board and return them to your stash. You can only do this if you have a piece of the appropriate size remaining, or if the removal of the pieces from the board gives you a piece of the appropriate size.

If the large is removed from the board in this process it may be replaced in an adjacent space; it may "move" in this fashion. Once it is on the board the large is considered "wild", and counts as a medium or a small for all purposes (both swapsremoval and four-in-a-row). The only way to get the large on the board is to remove two mediums.

If a player does not have any smalls left, they must remove two smalls (or a large and small) to place a medium, or must remove two mediums (or a large and medium) to place a large. If they are unable to do either of these things, they lose.
