Category talk:2 Treehouse sets
Add topicCategory:2HOUSE And Category:2 Treehouse sets should be the same. We just need to decide on a common naming. I'm in favor of 2HOUSE, 1HOUSE, 3HOUSE, etc... less wordy. But before I go hog-wild editing all the "Category:2 Treehouse sets" over to 2HOUSE, I wanted to hear other's opinions.--Jason 09:30, 20 March 2008 (EDT)
- I've noticed the redundant categories, and I've left it to the community to see which usage finds itself more widely used. I don't think enough time has passed, and Treehouse and 3House products haven't saturated the community enough, for a paradigm to have evolved yet. Do we as a community think in terms of 'XHouse', or in terms of 'X Treehouse sets'? I'm willing to wait until we have an answer to that. Individually, I strongly prefer 'Treehouse set' to '1House', but still think of XHouse games as 'x multicolored stashes'. - Cerulean 09:47, 20 March 2008 (EDT)
- For what my opinion is worth (jack and shit, apparently, these days) I prefer "Treehouse sets" to "XHOUSE" (and I prefer "XHOUSE" to "XHouse"), mainly to preserve the distinction between an Icehouse "stash" versus a Treehouse "set" (refer to What Can I Play?). Also, it keeps the distinction of 3HOUSE as a publication, rather than a generic category. --David Artman 10:00, 20 March 2008 (EDT)
- While I have a preference, I care more about commonization than I do about a particular name. I like the idea of keeping 3HOUSE separate because of publication.--Jason 10:25, 20 March 2008 (EDT)
- Myself I prefer the XHOUSE categorization if only because it's shorter. I don't think the fact that a 3HOUSE booklet was published should be a problem.-Jorge
