Add topicApplying a license[edit source]
Very sorry to sound like an idiot, but how does one go about applying a CC liscence to one's work? Does one just put the code in and go "there, that's it", or what?--ManyHills 17:52, 11 Jun 2005 (GMT)
- That's about it. You can post the license anywhere, but I recommend using a subpage of your user page, such as User:ManyHills/Licenses, for all of them. If you want to post a cc donated template, you can leave the "splash" lines intact so that it's void while you make sure that it says what you really want it to say. Feel free to post a void license, if you want to ask people about it; you can always edit or remove a void license. Does that give you what you need? — Rootbeer (Tom) (U | T | C) 23:53, 11 Jun 2005 (GMT)
Thanks. Now I just need to find something of mine to slap a CC on.--ManyHills 13:54, 18 Jun 2005 (GMT)
