Talk:Equipment/Chessboard bandana
Add topicWhat are the square dimensions on the bandana? I haven't been able to find that... I've been debating whether I should get one or not, I have homemade boards with 1" and 1.5" squares. I really just need one with 2" squares and haven't gotten around to making one. I've been meaning to for at least 5 years now. -JEEP 07:26, 3 May 2005 (GMT)
- I don't have my bandana with me right now, so I'm not 100% sure. The squares are large enough so they can fit a Large piece lying down in any orientation, but it's a pretty tight fit. I think this makes them 1.75" on a side. -- Jeremiah 17:49, 3 May 2005 (GMT)
- Just checked my bandana with a ruler. The squares are in fact 1.75" on a side. Does anyone want an image with a ruler and a few icehouse pieces? I can upload a photo if people think it'll be worthwhile. -- Jeremiah 00:10, 4 May 2005 (GMT)
- Yes, for sure! Show what a game of Martian Chess or something looks like on a bandana. I don't think you need a ruler in the photo, if you have pyramids to show the scale. Thanks! -- Rootbeer 00:42, 4 May 2005 (GMT)

I followed the link to buy a bandana, but they are sold out. I recommend keeping the link, though, just in case Looney Labs feels like making more. ----Splooge169 15:05, 22 December 2007 (EST)
