Talk:Null koan

The null koan is the only koan in which there are no pieces that are not weird.

Wouldn't a koan with two pieces leaning against each other such that neither is sitting upright nor lying flat be a koan with no pieces that are not weird?

Sounds right to me. Can you upload some images of these all-weird koans? Rootbeer 16:22, 29 Apr 2005 (GMT)

The article (now) says the null koan is the only one in which no piece is grounded (rather than not weird). JamesVanZandt 17:43, 22 Apr 2006 (GMT)
I'd like to notice that in Extended Zendo, where white opaque pyramids are used as props and can not be referred to in rules, "no piece is grounded" can be exemplified by any koan for which the only pyramids that touch the table are white opaque pyramids! There are an infinity of rules that are only exemplified by the empty koan, however, we like to find a way to be able to exemplify with a non-empty koan as many rules as possible (if not all) that do not contain contradictions.
