Move & Fire games involve mechanics where pieces are maneuvered around a play space in order to get into a position where an imaginary weapon or projectile is fired at a target opponent's pieces.

Though they are often tantamount to miniature games (like a ship or a spacecraft combat), some Move & Fire games are utterly abstract and the pieces in play are not representative of some other imagined thing.
