Giant pieces

Giant pieces are Icehouse pieces that are roughly eight times normal size. That is, a large piece is eight inches wide at the base. These giant pieces make Icehouse games easier for spectators to see, and turn action games like IceTowers and Icehouse into pulse-raising sports.

These attendees of PhilCon 2002 are using giant cardboard pieces to play IceTowers.

Foam rubber and plywood have both been used to make giant pieces. Looney Labs also used to sell giant cardboard pieces by the stash (some assembly and decoration required).
