The Icehouse Scepter is a square wooden rod about ten inches long, with its ends capped by yellow solid resin Icehouse pieces. The word "ICEHOUSE" is enscribed on one side of the rod in rune-like letters.
The scepter was constructed for the first International Icehouse Tournament in 1989, and was awarded to the champion of that tournament (Joyce Choat) for one year. Since then, the scepter has passed from champion to champion.
The scepter is currently in the possession of Jacob Davenport.
