Rules[edit | edit source]
- The maximum number of places a piece can move is equal to its pip count. Pieces do not have move their maximum amount.
- Pieces can only move in directions indicated by the arrows on the coasters.
- If a player breaks this rule it is up to his or her opponent(s) to point it out. The his or her opponent fails to notice the illegal move before their own move is complete, the illegal move becomes legal and can not be undone even if it is noticed later. A turn is considered complete when a player moves his or her piece and takes his or her hand off it
- If an illegal move is found, the offending piece is moved back and the offending player retakes his or her turn.
- Players making more than 3 illegal moves in a row can be penalized with losing his or her turn. (Do not use this rule with new players unless they are obviously trying to cheat.)
Rules on capturing, scoring and winning are the same as Martian Chess.
