Game Start[edit | edit source]
A die and two stacks of icehouse pieces are needed to play. Each player claims one color and takes both stacks of the same color. Pieces are then separated, so each player should have six pieces. The pieces are set in a line. Roll the die, lowest determines first player to go and then the order continues clockwise.
Game Play[edit | edit source]
When the die is rolled, you either knock down a piece, or set a piece back up, for each pip on the die. You may split up the number rolled among different players. --Example: Say you roll a four, you may: knock down four of one player's pieces, knock down 2 of 2 players, put up all of your pieces, one your your pieces and knock down three of an opponent, etc (as long as the pieces knocked down/revived equals the number you rolled)
This game play continues until someone has their pieces all knocked down. Once that happens, the player with their pieces knocked down is allowed to revive their pieces, but needs to take a piece away. This will result in them only having five pieces, instead of six. Game continues like normal for the player, with only one less piece. A player may only revive their pieces once, if they all get knocked down again, then they may not set them back up again and are out of the game.
The game continues until only one player has pieces left.
Winning the Game[edit | edit source]
The game is won when only one person is left with pieces standing.
