A Treehouse set is a collection of 15 Icehouse pieces, in 5 colors, with 1 large piece, 1 medium piece, and 1 small piece in each color. Treehouse sets are sold in two types: the Rainbow sets in red, yellow, green, blue and black, and the Xeno sets in clear, cyan, orange, purple, and white.

The phrase "2HOUSE" means two Treehouse sets, "3HOUSE" means three Treehouse sets, and so on.

Icehouse pieces were originally sold in stashes, with all 15 pieces of the same color, and most games required either a set number of stashes, or 1 stash per player. Treehouse has been the leading pyramid product since 2006, obsoleting the older stash convention. Since the introduction of Treehouse, many games have been designed that require one, two, three or more matching Treehouse sets. Older icehouse games tend to specify the required number of stashes, while newer games define their piece requirements based on Treehouse sets, depending on which sales format was common when the game was designed. Only a few games, such as Zendo, are compatible with both stash and Treehouse paradigms.
